Benoni Strivson

Accredited to California, Benoni Strivson was born in 1831 in Overton, TN.

Sometimes known as Benoni Stinson (also the name of a prominent Baptist leader in Kentucky in the 1800s), he entered the US Army at Sacramento, CA. He was awarded the CMOH for actions ocurring from August 13, to October 31, 1868 in the vicinity of the Black Mountains, Arizona Territory. Date of Issue: 24 July 1869.
